David's real estate career spans over 40 years, working in both residential and commercial real estate.
Upsizing or downsizing your residence, David's experience can help ease the transition and get you the best price for your home - whether buying, selling, or both.
Being a prairie boy, his real estate career began in Winnipeg, MB were he lived for several years. He and his family then moved west over the years, making a home in Saskatoon, SK, until 1991, and then moving to and living in Abbotsford, BC, in the beautiful Fraser Valley for the last 27 years.
The Valley offers up beautiful vistas, quiet suburban neighbourhoods, and close proximity to Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler - welcoming cities, beautiful mountains, hiking trails, and skiing - all within an hour's drive. Abbotsford is beautifully situated only 2 km from the US/Canada border - easy access to Mt. Baker, Bellingham, and Seattle.
Travelling? Canada or further afield? Abbotsford has its own International Airport, Vancouver International is only 70 km away, and Bellingham and Seattle are also close.
A golf enthusiast? We have more than our fair share of beautiful courses to choose from within a 100 km drive.
Abbotsford is also home to the University of the Fraser Valley. The local campus has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years, and has campuses in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, and Hope/Agassiz.
If you live in the Fraser Valley or Lower Mainland, or know someone who wishes to buy and sell in this area, be sure to give David a call. He'll be happy to help you with your Real Estate needs.

Born in Middlesex, England at the end of World War II to a Canadian Father and a British Mother, David came to Canada growing up in Arden, Manitoba, and relocating to Beautiful British Columbia – where he has made Abbotsford his home since 1991.
His “artist life” began in grade school where he won two separate honorable mentions in Manitoba Art Contests.
In 1993, after talking about art classes, a friend asked him to accompany her to view a home (both are realtors). When they arrived to view the home, an art teacher was waiting for him. For two years he took her instruction, practicing oil painting techniques and creating commissioned work for some clients.
Several years later, he started experimenting with water colors, creating beautiful pictures of his “Home Town” as wedding gifts for his nieces and nephews. David discovered the medium of Pen & Wash and has found it very much to his liking.
With an interest in history he began to paint buildings that have historical value or are significant in the local area. As an avid golfer, his future painting plans include pictures of local golf courses.
Living in the Fraser Valley and wintering in Arizona with his wife Lois, it’s easy to get inspired – there is so much beauty and history everywhere. He continues to paint desert and mountain pictures while there. David says “inspiration is as simple as picking up a camera, taking pictures or sitting down with a brush or pencil and just starting”.
David enjoys creating commissioned works for others and invites you to enjoy his art –giving you the same feeling of satisfaction it gives him – bringing your ideas to reality.
